Timber Harvesting magazine Associate Editor Jessica Johnson travels to Edson, Alberta to visit Dean Gordon Trucking. Dean Gordon Trucking is a multi-faceted logging company that operates cut-to-length equipment along with traditional drive-to felling and roadside processing. Gordon is entering his second year of a two-year harvesting contract with West Fraser and also runs a large trucking operation that handles logs as well as other products. In addition to the hired hands, and Gordon who often finds himself on the dozer doing roadwork, his youngest son Luke Gordon is in the woods full-time.
